2015 PDA Europe Pharmaceutical Microbiology Conference in Berlin

In February our General Manager, Jennifer Wan attended the 2015 PDA Europe Pharmaceutical Microbiology Conference in Berlin.
This was an excellent opportunity to learn about the current state of regulatory trends in Europe where many of our local clients are exporting products and to also interact with key suppliers to our industry. The conference included speakers from the EDQM and US FDA.
There were a range of topics covered including the latest updates on PDA’s recent Technical Report, Exclusion of Objectionable Organisms, discussions on the challenges of low endotoxin recovery in biological products and the control and monitoring of cleanrooms.
Jennifer also attended the Cleaning and Disinfection workshop hosted by Peter Koger of Veltek Associates. The workshop covered practical approaches to the selection and validation of cleaning and disinfectant programs for cleanroom environments. We are pleased to say that the techniques employed by ams Laboratories in disinfectant qualification for its clients are considered best practice in our industry.
