Wendy Free, Quality Matters Safety Matters P/L – Probiotics: The Regulatory Aspects
Anders Henriksson DuPont Nutrition & Health – Quality Assurance in Probiotics
If you have been watching some of the current affairs programs in recent times, you may have come across debates in relation to the controversy of probiotics. Some, including professionals in the main stream medicines, would suggest that probiotics are beneficial; while many others remain very skeptical and dismiss it as a placebo effect. Nevertheless, probiotics are increasingly becoming popular and hence it is time to put some ‘science and GMP’ into it. Should probiotics be regarded as a therapeutic or complimentary medicine? CAPSIG NSW has invited two speakers to give the latest update in the development and regulatory requirement in the probiotic segment.
Please book early to attend this highly informative seminar.
