Sandhya Lal Singh, BTech, Postgrad Dip (Chem) is Manager of the Chemistry and Toxicology Department in Eurofins | ams. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Forensic and Analytical Chemistry from Flinders University of South Australia and a Postgraduate Diploma in Chemistry from University of South Pacific, Fiji.
She has more than 13 years of work experience in the industry. She joined Eurofins | ams (known as ams Laboratories then) in 2007 and was instrumental in helping Eurofins | ams obtain the NATA accreditation for Australian Standard / New Zealand Standard (AS/NZS) 4020 testing of plumbing products.
More recently in 2014, she also played a key role in obtaining the NATA accreditation for the British Standard (BS) 6920 testing of non-metallic plumbing products.
In Eurofins | ams, her role is vital in validating and maintaining TGA approved test methods for Analysis of Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Chlorohydrin Residues in Medical Devices based on ISO 10993.
As the Manager, she oversees and supervises the day-to-day administration of the Chemistry and Toxicology Department. At times, she is also involved in planning, performing and analysing the various tests carried out in her department. She also works closely with the customers and the other department managers in Technical Consulting projects that require her area of expertise and inputs.
