Kim Van, BAppSc, is the Manager of the Brisbane laboratory for Eurofins | ams located in Queensland. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science from the Queensland University of Technology where she majored in Microbiology. During her professional career, Kim has completed certificates and short courses in Principles & Applications of HACCP, Internal Food Safety Auditor and Food Safety Quality Assurance Management.
She has more than 12 years combined experience working in both Food Safety and Pharmaceutical testing environment. This makes her a valuable asset in running our daily operations of the laboratory.
As the Manager for this laboratory, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations and is also the nominated person in-charge of Production on both TGA and APVMA site licences. She works very closely with the other Departmental Managers from the main laboratory allowing Eurofins | ams to provide greater customer service to their Queensland clients.
Her role also requires her to actively engage local Universities and other industry groups with the purpose of building a strong and extensive technical network to help clients with any type of problem they may require assistance with.
With a unique blend of skills and experience and coupled with excellent communication abilities, she is a great asset in providing support to customers with limited technical experience and translating our services to commercial solutions.
